Cross the Ages: Ouribo Family Crossing

The ouribo is a reptile that lives in the northern rocky areas of the Rift. Its hunting techniques
are characterized by the secretion of pheromones with a faint scent of cinnamon. Since the
blast, and the destruction of the territory, many travellers have been fooled by the enticing scent
secreted by the ouribo, or have inadvertently found refuge in the lair of one of them. Once
bitten, they secrete a poison that prevents the blood from coagulating normally, causing profuse
bleeding. It can then stalk its target for several kilometers until it gives up or bleeds to death, in
order to devour it.
The ouribo moves slowly on all fours. It has a solid cuirass over much of its body, protecting it
from external aggression. It is often hunted by the Sigil clan, a clan of Rift merchants who use
its carapace to make protections and many other tools. The Sigils are used to ouribo tracking
techniques.
